Aitken's OH series heaters install just like fluorescent lighting fixtures — suspended overhead to focus heat exactly where it's needed. Use them individually, in pairs to heat one area, or in a group to heat an entire building.

Easy Installation
Mounting brackets are provided for hanging the unit — operates in many positions, though it's designed for overhead installation.
Clean operation with no combustion by-products, fumes, or vents required. Weatherproof — can be operated indoors or out, and hosed off to clean when not energized. Optional protective screens are available: model PG-200 for the 2 KW series, model PG-450 for the 4.5 KW series. UL Listed Heater (669L), including Canadian UL certification.
Danger — Hazard of Fire: Infrared radiant heaters must not be operated where combustible materials, flammable gases, vapors, or corrosives are present. Combustible material should not be placed in the radiation path. Minimum mounting height is 10 feet. Where ceilings are under 10 feet, or other conditions seem to call for a lower mounting height, consult a qualified infrared authority for advice.
2 & 4.5 KW Overhead Heaters — OH Series
Specifications
The 2 KW model delivers 6,824 BTU of radiant heat without the ultraviolet; the 4.5 KW model delivers 15,354 BTU. Shipping weight is 11 lbs (2 KW) and 18 lbs (4.5 KW). 277V and 600V are available as a special order.

Installation Notes
- Minimum clearance: 12″ from ceiling to top of unit; 24″ from walls to sides and ends.
- Combustible material should not be placed in the radiation path.
- Wiring is single-end, insulated, nickel-plated, stranded copper wire with 6″ of wire available for connection in the conduit fitting.
- A 6″ nipple and type “LB” conduit fitting are packed with the heater, but not attached.
- Spacing between adjacent heaters should be a minimum of 36″.
